We have mice, but not the good kind, the very very bad kind. It's hard to remember the time when I could even step foot into my cards room, lift up any object on the ground, use the pantry or the main bathroom, or feel comfortable sitting on my couch. It's a pathetic life, but it is mine. Tyler is going to work today for the first time since discovering these awful beasts and I'm not sure how I"m going to do. I might take the laptop with me to the kitchen island and sit up there with a watchful eye to any mice climbing up the walls (did you know they can climb up walls!!!!!!!)
We are not sure who came first, the 4" of water in our crawl space or the mice. Tyler seems very concerned with the water, but in light of the mice, I couldn't care less. Although the nice Orkin man said that the mice won't go until the water goes, so I am all for the water going. It's kind of a nightmare, we've had the Orkin man, plumbers, gutter guys, and been talking on the phone with a million other contractors. Luckily, I have a wonderful husband who is taking care of all of this. He only laughs a little when I "ca ka" to warn the mice I'm coming and to please leave the room.
