Bored Puppies and a busy me.

It's' been hard adjusting to working as much as I have lately. I would say it's hardest on the puppies, but I think it's a little hard on me. I just feel so bad, because on the days Tyler works too, they are so BORED.   But I am exhausted. I love natural light and hate having to use my lights, but when the weather is crappy it's either use the lights or don't shoot. I choose the don't shoot option a few too many times, and now I'm down to the wire. Smart I know.

Abby is handful. She is just plain wild. We are realizing that Maddox was a SAINT!!! She has a bit more devil in her. Right now her big problem is food. She wakes us up at 7 (or lately 5:30 or 6) to eat without fail. She just lays down and cries. So it's either make her wait and don't sleep or feed her and go back to sleep. She jumps up on the counter if she knows there is food up there. Doesn't matter though - I love our little devil girl!

I put Harrison up on the table to shoot him. When I try to shoot him on the ground he gets too excited and come running toward me to give me kisses - which is why I have so fewer pictures of Harrison. I was shooting a while before I noticed that he was completely shaking. Something between being up high and having Abby down below trying to get him scared him??? Which is why in this picture he looks terrified!!

Maddox hates me working more than any of them. If I am in the office he just sits outside the door and cries. It's a real tragedy when I'm working and Tyler is in here working on his homework. He just loves to be close to us. At night when we are sitting on the couch, we extend the recliners and he lays in between us.

Puppy Play

We finally have good weather for the puppies to play out on the green green grass. I was wrapping presents all afternoon and the puppies enjoyed the wrapping paper roll. On a side note, why is wrapping paper so thin? I had to wrap everything twice so that you couldn't see exactly what you just wrapped. It's either that or you buy a blank box. RIDICULOUS!!!!

I love this, Abby was just walking along and BAM Maddox got her.

Harrison is content to just watch from the deck.

Something about treats

Something about using treats to get puppies to look at the camera makes the tongues come out!

Puppy beds

Abby has decided to make Harrison's bed her own. I really don't know why, but she has laid claim.

Seeing as how I have a weekness for cheap small dog beds, Harrison has plenty of places to sleep.

We thought Maddox's crazy laying on his back thing was just him being crazy, but apparently it's a saint bernard thing.

We missed out on the really small puppy stage, but at least she still can lay on Tyler's lap. Maddox still tries, but he just doesn't fit anymore.

Cuddle Time

Harrison likes to cuddle from the safety of his crate.

Hiding from Harrison

Abby loves Harrison. I bet she spends several hours a day just chasing him. Harrison hated it at first, but now he just thinks she's annoying and occasionally fun. If she gets too far behind him, he'll slow down so she can catch up. Today, she wouldn't leave him alone as Tyler and I were working on our computers (You can probably see facebook in the background - so yes I was real hard at work). So I brought Harrison up on my desk. Everytime Abby would leave I would put Harrison down, then Abby would come back in and it would all start over again. Then Abby hid under my desk - hoping I would put Harrison down. Tricky Tricky Girl.

Lazy Bums

We have a bunch of lazy bums! They have both been incredibly cuddly. I love it! It's crazy that Maddox is big enough to ALMOST take up the entire couch.

Merry Christmas

Santa came to our house Christmas morning.

Harrison really enjoyed his reindeer from Santa.

Maddox decided to steal it - which resulted in an antler torn off in just a few moments.

Maddox's signature "Bum in the Air" move.

Harrison was very interested in what Tyler was doing.

Tyler got some magazines.

Maddox

I made Tyler a calendar with pictures of the boys. We had bought a Saint Bernard calendar and all the pictures were awful, so I decided to make our own.

Tyler got me a trackpad for my computer.

Harrison being curious.

Me and the big guy.

He is very kissy in the morning.

Harrison looks a little more like he's ready to pull an escape.

The mean daddy tempting big brother with little brother - who is a nice snack.
