iPhone Mishap

A while ago, I decided there was no reason to use a case for my iPhone. It was just so beautiful, I didn't want to hide the simple beauty. Plus, I thought the iPhone was pretty much indestructible. I was wrong. I have dropped my iPhone many a time, but the other day I was holding it to my ear with my shoulder, and it slipped out. Fell only a couple feet and I ended up with this:

After much debate, we decided it was worth it to update to the iPhone 4 on Verizon. Best Buy had an awesome deal that we could sell Tyler's perfectly heatlhy iPhone and my old old laptop. Who knew ??? I hadn't used my laptop for about three or four years. They have this trade in program. We got a gift card (or you get a smaller cash back) that almost paid for the transition.

After my caseless mishap, Tyler grounded me from having no phone case. I just love my Kate Spade case. Polka dots are my fav!

Also, because of our switch, we have 5 almost brand new iPhone 3GS cases that are useless to us. If you have a need/want let me know.

Evernote

For years I have torn pages out of magazines and tried about a million different ways of organizing them. Inevitably, however, there has always been a huge pile of unorganized ideas. Then, when halloween comes around, I have no idea where the ideas are. I now have a solution and my all time favorite app. It's free and you can have a desktop version, an app for your iPhone, iPod touch and  your iPad and they sync together.

You can enter information through an image {screenshot, photo, scanned magazine clipping, etc.} or by typing it in. You organize it into folders and can tag the "notes" as well. Best thing - you can also search keywords and it can find words in a scanned image.

Another added bonus is a way to organize favorite quotes. You can tag a quote with a specific topic or just search for keywords when looking for a quote to use. I tagged vinyl on quotes that I may want to use for a vinyl project.
