Al is awesome. She got the biggest personality, whether it's happy or sad. She's HAPPY or SAD. Al loved me so much, then I bring this boy home and I'm nothing. Al clinged/clanged/clung?? right on to Tyler. It was so sweet. Now I just feel bad when she runs past me into his arms. She's a wonderful wonderful little girl and I'm so proud of her on her decision to be baptized. Also, my sister has mad hair skills.
This month was a little late, okay a lot late. But they were still 8 months old when I took these pictures - so it counts! Since I knew we would be moving in the first few months of their lives, I decided to shoot these in different locations showing what was going on right then, all with the big red chair. Right now in their lives, Ellie and Wyatt live in front of these shelves. Every day after they wake up and eat, we come down stairs and lay on a blanket with toys everywhere. Wyatt is off the blanket in about three seconds and keeps rolling until something stops him. Ellie is content to sit and play. We spend the majority of our day in that little area. It's my favorite. When I sit down here I think about how grateful I am that I can work at home and spend so much time with these two. I wouldn't change it for the world.
We officially have larger than life, crazy hooligans. They love to bounce and laugh, oh they love to laugh. They have found their voice, typically in the form of screams and laughter. We caught Wyatt the other day just looking at nothing in particular and laughing. I think this went on for about 10 minutes.
I say this all the time but HOW IS THIS HAPPENING. Okay so it happened 2 weeks ago. The fact that two additional weeks have gone by blows my mind. I need to find a way to stop time. Good luck with that.
Wyatt is probably the happiest baby I've seen. He smiles all the time, unless he's hungry - kinda like his dad. There has been many many times where he will be playing with toys and just giggle for a half hour. It's awesome, because then we just laugh right back. He is starting to move EVERYWHERE. Some nights I just don't know how I am going to handle it when they are both going every which way. Excited, but TERRIFIED!!
Ellie is such a sweetheart. She loves her mamma and really dislikes strangers. Melts my heart when all they have to do is hand her back and she stops crying and gets a big grin on her face. She may be more reserved, but when I tickle her she will giggle for hours. She loves interaction, not a fan of being left alone. If she sees me when they babysitter is here she will cry, so I have to sneak around when I need something from the kitchen (so mostly when I go to get another diet dr pepper!)
Oh how I love this little boy. He is probably the sweetest cutest thing in the world. (even with his nose crusties I didn't notice until looking at the picture now). I was working and shooting and he was playing on a blanket next to me while sis was upstairs still taking her nap. She's much better at naps than him.
I'm still trying to figure out how to work while these munchkins are rolling about. Babysitter works good, but I don't like having one all the time. So for now we are trying to work it out. Some days are more productive than others.
I am way behind in processing files, but I finally got these ones done. I guess the important thing is they get shot right?
The puppies were interested in what we were doing and came and joined us, not really getting what we were doing. They got sick of us making loud noises to get the babies to look and left pretty quickly.
We had a day. Our six month picture was already 2 and a half weeks late, so I said I was going to shoot them ready or not. WE apparently were not. Tyler was working. I don't mind though, they are adorable. and I LOVE THEM!!
We got one that is not horrible, ignore wyatt's eyes that having been crying.
